Artist’s bio

Mandy Forbes is a textile artist originally from Hamilton, Ontario who combines embroidery and found images to create work that is playful, nostalgic and narrative-driven. Her current work focusses on the idea of home and place and includes ghostly embroidery and felt farmhouses. Always interested in experimenting with new materials and techniques, Mandy loves to share what she knows with other textile enthusiasts in workshops or one-on-one. She currently lives and stitches in London, Ontario.
