Silk painting
A silk artist for over 15 years, Arale explores the medium to produce works ranging from paintings to unique jewelry and wearables. Silk excels in capturing vibrant colors, which she has embraced to capture subjects from her international experiences living in Hong Kong, Qatar, and now Canada. She is currently focusing her themed collections of flora, specifically “Chrysanthemum” and “Lotus”.
Arale’s studio is a gallery-like space, showcasing a wide variety of her work. The studio doubles as her teaching space, where she offers silk painting classes to individuals or groups who want to experience silk painting and create their own work. Arale also undertakes bespoke commission work.
