A Renaissance man – part teacher, inventor, designer, technician and a true artist – Jerry’s weathervane-type structures give welcome pause to his wide range of metal art displayed in studio at Custom Art Metal Work.
He works with all smithed, welded and soldered composites, and different materials for the completion of an art piece.
Jerry’s sculptures show his skill at intuitively analyzing and capturing the potential in metal, the true intent of a piece. He states, “The flexibility and rich sensory variety that metal can produce continue to intrigue and challenge me to constant experimentation and the delight of discovery.”
His caring intent is evident in The Charley Fox Memorial Overpass sculpture (2011) and numerous pieces held in private collections.
