Light, colour and transparency continue to be key elements of Jane’s work. Recent interest in different media is taking her work in new directions as she explores textures in clay and abstract painting. Jane’s process involves observation, recording impressions and lots of pondering as she incubates an idea before a burst of creative energy. She particularly enjoys resolving conflicts between vision and materials and is always excited to surrender some control to the medium.
