Carol Clark
Painting
Carol was born in Toronto and attended a 3 year art program, studying life drawing, painting, illustration, art history and printmaking. She enjoys depicting nature with a realistic style and vibrant colours. Carol painted in watercolour for many years but the past few years she has enjoyed exploring oils. Her subject matter includes landscapes, floral images and still life. Every painting is a new challenge and the composition, light and shadows are what make it interesting. Carol has exhibited in galleries and her work is included in the permanent collection of the Alberta Art Foundation. Her work has been included in the annual show of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour. Carol spends weekends and Wednesdays all summer at Stratford’s Art in the Park.
