Danielle Hoevenaars is an artist, and an arts & culture professional based in London, Ontario. Her artistic body of work is primarily in ceramics, with two dominating themes: bathymetry maps of lakes presented as framed wall-mounted tiles and vases, and sculptural studies of hands and embraces.
Danielle has been a member of Clayworx (formerly the London Clay Art Centre) since 2015. There she has completed training in various elements of ceramic art practices and studio operations as a student and volunteer.
She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree (Fine Arts Studio Thesis) from the University of Waterloo in 2014 and graduated with honours. She is currently pursuing a Certificate of Museum Studies through the Ontario Museums Association.
