Kimberly Mitchell is a self-taught watercolour artist. She creates paintings of wildlife that are detailed and realistic, while also striving to convey personality and depth in her subject matter. Her goal is to celebrate the beauty of wildlife and draw attention to their importance in our world. Although she enjoyed drawing and painting in elementary and high school, life took Kimberly in another direction and she lost touch with art for a while. She picked it up again as a hobby while volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation centre, and gradually began to realize that she had discovered her passion. Kimberly is now committed to pursuing a career as a full-time artist.
