Hida Behzadi (Hida Be) is a graphic designer and visual artist. While Hida’s primary interest lies in figurative and portrait works, she also creates diverse visuals that have traces of both fine art and design. She works in a variety of techniques and disciplines, from marker, charcoal, ink and oil, to photography, digital illustration and print. Her most recent body of work is Meditations, a fantastical abstract miniature collection, that was presented in a solo exhibit at Satellite Project Space, with the support of Museum London. Hida is a design strategist by day, a graphic design lecturer at Western University, and was a figure drawing instructor at The Art Project from 2008 to 2016. Visit her workspace to see some of her new abstract miniatures, figurative artwork, as well as print and other design artifacts.
